He has spent his career developing and supervising programs that treat young adults and adults struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. He holds a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University.

With the support of his now wife, Justin sought therapy, withdrew from school, and discovered his passion for mental health and social justice. He went on to earn his MSW from UNC and now blends clinical care with a deep commitment to advocacy, public engagement, and fighting stigmas.
